Collection: Feng Shui - The Five Elements

In Eastern philosophy, the Five Elements are the building blocks of everything in the Universe. The elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

Also known as the Five Transformations of Energy, each of the elements represents a different phase of energy and the Five Element Cycles show how these phases transform from one to the other. 

These Elements can be found in us humans as well, and the element is determined based on which year we were born. 

If you were born in 1956, 1957, 1964, 1965, 1978, 1979, 1986, 1987, 1994, 1995; your element is Fire.

If you were born in 1966, 1967, 1974, 1975, 1982, 1983, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2005; your element is Water.

If you were born in 1960, 1961, 1968, 1969, 1976, 1977, 1990, 1991, 1998, 1999; your element is Earth.

If you were born in 1962, 1963, 1970, 1971, 1984, 1985, 1992, 1993, 2000, 2001; your element is Metal.

If you were born in 1958, 1959, 1972, 1973, 1980, 1981, 1988, 1989, 2002, 2003; your element is Wood.

Having balanced qualities of all of these elements contributes to a healthy, joyful, and productive life.
